Arbor Place, Inc. provides confidential alcohol and other drug abuse
treatment services to adults and their families affected by alcohol and
drug abuse. Staff is fully trained to provide assessment and design
treatment programs. An intensive 21 day residental program, a 10 day
relapse program and outpatient services are all available. Prevention
resources are provided by full time prevention specialist. A crisis line
is staffed 24 hours a day

The Bridge is a domestic abuse and sexual assault agency, serving Dunn and
Pepin counties, whose goal is to end physical, sexual, and emotional
violence in our society. Our mission is to support, advocate for, and
empower victims/survivors to work toward this goal. Services include: Safe
Home and Shelter; Information and Referral; Public Education; Crisis
Counseling; Support Groups; Advocacy and Counseling; 24 hour crisis line.

Dunn County Interfaith Volunteers, Inc is a non-profit umbrella organization that manages three
vital community programs: Interfaith Food Pantry, and the House of Hope, and the Interfaith
Caregivers. All programs are housed at the above address. Services are free.
Interfaith Food Pantry: (715) 235-2920
The Food Pantry provides food and personal necessities to families and individuals living on a
limited income. Government commodities are also distributed monthly to those who qualify.
Recipients need to register to determine eligibility.
Food Pantry Hours: Monday and Friday 11:00 - 2 p.m.
Wednesday 2:30-5:30 p.m.

House of Hope provides temporary shelter to homeless individuals of Dunn County up to thirty
days. Transient persons may stay for up to seven days. Priority is given to families with children.
The house contains two furnished apartments, one of which is handicap accessible. During their stay, the House Coordinator
works with the residents providing information and referrals to secure stable housing and
maintain economic self-sufficiency.

Interfaith Caregivers volunteers provide supportive services to the disabled, isolated, frail and
elderly of Dunn County to improve the quality of life. Volunteers assist with the following
services: light housekeeping, respite and telephone reassurance, meal preparation and shopping,
small fix-it jobs, companionship and transportation, yard work and snow shoveling.

The Family Resource Center (FRC) is a resource to assist young families to
provide a healthy start for children. The FRC provides positive parenting
classes, parent support groups, in-home visitations, loan library of
books/videos/toys (future date) and a "Warmline" for answering questions
(future date).

Head Start is a federally funded preschool program for children (ages
0-5) and their parents which encourages their growth and development
through socialization in groups sessions and home visits. Services
include education, health, nutrition, and family services; at no cost to
families. Qualified staff create individualized learning programs to
enhance child development and self-esteem, while nutritional experts
provide well balanced meals. Family Services include home visits,
monthly parent sharing sessions, direct involvement in program planning,
and referrals to local agencies. Program options include:

Fellowship and Friendship are key activities at the Senior Center.
People come early for the congregate nutrition meal to visit; some spend
time in the lounge sharing ideas or in the Craft Room or Wood Shop
creating various articles. A Library is also available as is a game
room. We sing and play cards and bingo. Support groups meet here on a
regular basis. Senior tours are a special activity of the Center.
Volunteerism is the hey to the success of the Center. Please stop by and

Soccer is the fastest growing sport in U.S. and Dunn County is no
exception. The Red Cedar Soccer Association provides programming
for youth ages 6-16, both boys and girls throughout Dunn County.
The programs are both recreational (in-house) and competitive (travel).
